Meet Lisa Sperber

I became an attorney because I enjoy solving problems and helping people navigate complicated situations with confidence.

Early in my legal career, I spent several years helping individuals and families with estate planning. I enjoyed getting to know my clients, understanding what mattered most to them, and creating plans that would protect the people they loved and provide peace of mind for the future.

Over the course of my career, my practice expanded into sophisticated commercial real estate and business transactions, including representing clients at an Am Law 100 law firm and serving as in-house counsel for an international retailer. Those experiences sharpened my ability to anticipate problems, pay close attention to the details that matter, and protect my clients' interests in complex legal matters.

Today, I've come full circle—bringing together my estate planning experience and the broader perspective gained from more than fifteen years of legal practice. Whether I'm helping young parents name guardians for their children or guiding retirees through more comprehensive estate planning, my goal is always the same: to listen first, explain your options clearly, and help you create a plan that reflects your wishes and protects the people you love.

One experience that reinforced the importance of proper estate planning involved a member of my own family. He created a trust himself, believing he had done everything correctly. Unfortunately, a small drafting mistake unintentionally omitted part of his family. What should have been a straightforward administration instead created uncertainty, additional expense, and unnecessary strain among people he cared deeply about.

That experience serves as a reminder that estate planning isn't simply about completing documents. It's about making sure your wishes are carried out exactly as you intended.
